Walking to Santiago de Compostela
I am writing from Ciraqui, in the Spanish region of Navarra, or the Basque country (depending on your point of view).
Having reached Bayonne in bus, slept at the home of a local boy, reached by hitchhiking Saint Jean Pied de Port, 4 days ago I started walking backpacking to Santiago de Compostela.
With my 15 kg backpack I walked to 1400 meters high, slept on the banks of a river, made friends with people that I lost, found people who'd lost, struggled with my shoulder before and with my feet then why release, I tried to speak 4 languages, slept in an old monastery, through forests, thanked the universe because she's driving experience this , one of the best experiences a man can live.
And that's just the beginning!
I have walked only 100 km, I miss them more or less 700!
Of course I am writing a diary which I'll try to post, perhaps at the end of my trip.
I always have a wifi spot, sometimes spend days when I connect to anything.
I'll try to do my best to document and share this experience with the blog.
All the best, I have to go finish my today's stage, count to make yet another 17 km.
