To the South

(Vers le sud)

After spending two fantastic weeks to help the family Bullock to start the construction of their important project in Mora d'Ebre, a small town of 4000 inhabitants in the South of Catalonia (shortly publish ' videos with interviews and project details), I am about to reach a sustainable community on the island of La Palma, exactly in Tijarafe, on the East coast of this small island located in the archipelago of the Canary Islands.

Finally Crown a little dream I had for a long time, and I mean to spend winter in a warm place (there are 20 – 25 degrees and lows of about 10 degrees of the average minimum in February), having spent the last 4 years in cold places Gray and rainy, of Europe (Lille in Northern France, Szczecin in Northwest Poland and Dublin in Ireland), where the summers seem to just shy of Italian springs.
Il progetto si chiama Proyecto Pachamama, it took me a month to get a positive response and be accepted as a volunteer, so I took a flight from Barcelona and got ready to leave on Monday morning 🙂
The project seems like a natural paradise, if you have 5 minutes I suggest you click on the link and watch their presentation video. The community deals with eco buildings, alternative teaching for children, they have a vegetable garden and a farm created according to the principles of Permaculture, they have a solar kitchen built with recycled materials, in short, a bang of interesting things to study and learn !
I will stay there for a month and try to assimilate as much as possible a sponge, and it will also allow me to improve my Spanish as I have been starting to chew a little since I am in Spain (even if in truth to Mora D'Ebre I only practiced English with my hosts, and in the village people only speak Catalan, it's not really the best place to learn Spanish).
I must say that I am super enthusiastic and I am looking forward to discovering this new reality, I will try to share as much as possible what I will live on this blog.
I am just at the beginning, I had no idea how a website could be created, I am trying to learn slowly, between my work as a volunteer and the Spanish study hours, so if you have advice or suggestions please write to me 🙂
A hug, anyone who reads this post (I hope many)
