Goodbye Europe

It was a long time that I did not feel so nervous on a trip.

Travelling in Europe made me feel very comfortable, I had no fear of any kind. The fact of taking a plane to exit from Europe and getting a culture almost unknown almost didn't let me sleep at night.

That's what made me nervous: not knowing what I'm up against.

This morning at the airport in Malaga, while I was in line to take your bags with Royal Air Maroc, for a moment I doubted he was wrong row. Next there was the queue for people departing to Rome.

Luckily there was Frances with me at the airport, which is now almost a sister.

It was a long time that I did not feel so nervous for a flight.

Even the fact that I stopped for 2 and a half months in a place that I called home (in the last project in Andalucia), that hasn't happened in a long time. It's also why the fact of continuing your journey I felt more strange than usual.

In the last year I never stopped for more than 3 weeks at the same place.

Nervousness is finished just boarded the plane. Fortunately I had the seat next to a beautiful girl in Dakar, Emilie, who like me has to wait hours in the airport of Casablanca waiting for the second flight to Senegal.

We had a very pleasant conversation.

I lost sight of when we arrived at the airport.

When I found was with a group of his countrymen who was immediately invited to sit at their table and share the food they had on the table.

It's been a while since I felt so nervous in an airport.

I thought I had the possibility to visit Casablanca. When I arrived I found that for 6 hours I'm stuck in the airport and I can't go out for a smoke.

Thankfully I'm in Morocco, and I felt it immediately as I asked a security guard if there were spaces for smoking and invited me to go near the rear exit of a restaurant, informed me that I could smoke without being too subheading note.

I don't believe in a European airport, it is possible that a security officer to explain the trick to avoid security.

At the bottom of Casablanca is a crossroads between people coming from Europe and should reach any African country that is South of Morocco, then like me people are here waiting for hours and not being able to leave the airport. We're creating a smoking corner.

I'm nervous about the arrival in Dakar.

Arrival at 1 at night and I have to try to bargain with the taxi the lowest price. Emilie (the girl who sat with me on the plane) and his friends have informed me not to pay more than 3500 francs for reaching the city.

Today I also found that in Senegal not everyone speaks French. I must learn Wolof if I want to have the ability to communicate with many people and mainstream as I like it.

I also got confirmation that he will not be at all difficult to make friends.

I'm nervous, but also excited and happy! Who knows what awaits me! The prospects look fantastic!

Goodbye Europe! See you soon!

The article I wrote in the Malaga airport, but I could not set it properly, because poor wifi.

Now I'm in Dakar. I managed to get to the hostel. They gave me even though I had booked a single room shared by 10! Just because it was free and now it's too late not the book none tonight!

I'm already in love with this country! And hot, looks like summer. Feel the mosquitoes around me.

I'm so tired but very happy.

Tomorrow I will meet my contact Couchsurfing and I'll start to enjoy the city.

I wish you a good night from the heart of North West Africa.
